When I work with my clients I truly listen to the needs of the community. What they need is always at the forefront of my design strategy! I see myself as a facilitator and a guide as we all have our own journeys to take along the leadership path. I love a challenge to find new ways to work with different groups of students, educators, and well - humans in general!
Building the Peer Impact Program with RMS
At Rochester Middle School, Peers Not Fears is working with 25 seventh-grade students who are stepping into leadership for the first time. These students, often overlooked as traditional leaders, are building essential skills like communication, conflict negotiation, risk-taking, and collaboration through intentional leadership activities.
Youth Ambassador Program
Peers not Fears (PNF) collaborates with Connors Climb YAP participants in workshops and training sessions designed to help teens become effective leaders. Learning to organize and lead awareness
campaigns, events, and activities.
Supporting the Leadership Growth for the Peer Leaders
Peers Not Fears partnered with Robert Adams Middle School to enhance the leadership skills of 8th-grade peer leaders actively promoting identity awareness, inclusion, and empathy.
Creating Opportunity for Community Growth Through Leadership
Peers Not Fears (PNF) collaborates with Spark Academy of Advanced Technologies to develop student leadership skills, build community, and address challenges through tailored programs and a phased approach, fostering confidence and connections within the school community.
Positive Outcomes of Leadership Training for Immigrant & Refugee Youth
Peers not Fears (PNF) collaborates with the Amiko Youth Program to develop leadership skills in immigrant and refugee youth, fostering self-confidence, teamwork, and positive behavior through tailored mentoring and community-building activities.

Helping Students Create a Student-Led Community Program
Peers Not Fears (PNF) collaborates with The Founders Academy (TFA) to empower students in developing a student-led community program, focusing on building leadership skills, fostering peer mentoring, and enhancing communication and problem-solving abilities through a phased approach and hands-on guidance.
Nurturing Personal and Leadership Growth
Peers Not Fears (PNF) partnered with the Miss Maine Scholarship Program to cultivate leadership and community among contestants, enhancing their confidence, communication skills, and overall personal growth through a virtual leadership cohort model.

Peers Not Fears (PNF) partnered with Surry Village Upper School (SVS) to provide foundational leadership training for 5th to 8th graders, fostering teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to build a stronger, more connected school community.

Practicing Leadership to Build Skills
Our goal has been to work with sophomore high school students to engage in activities that will help them build leadership skills to develop into strong leaders as they begin college applications. Peers not Fears collaborated with College Quest Advising to create this five-session summer program.

Social and Emotional with Elementary Students
Our goal has been to work with students between the ages of 5 - 11 to engage in activities that support the CASEL SEL framework. A group of 10 experts teamed up to create a program that can be used in summer programming for all elementary school students.

Helping Students Create a Student-Led Community Program
Peers not Fears (PNF) collaborates with the Amiko Youth Program to enhance team dynamics and foster a supportive environment. Through professional development and restorative justice protocols, PNF helps adults improve communication and problem-solving skills, ultimately benefiting the youth they serve.

Our goal has been to work with both middle and high school students to engage in activities that empower them and provide them with some foundational skills to develop into strong leaders.

Our goal has been to work with female middle school students focusing on self-care incorporating their minds, bodies, and spirit. The sessions Peers not Fears facilitated were centered around how we have more in common than we think.

It is helpful to sit with other educators, and examine the way that we treat others, and ourselves. This examination, if it happens in a safe space, such as the one provided by this class, challenges us to take perspective and allows us to recognize the assumptions, biases, and baggage that we all carry with us into the classroom. Because of the broad nature of the topics, and the opportunity for choice in the assignments, any person in any position of leadership in any profession could find value in this course
